Clint and Amy Nabors, co-founders of the team, have unique backgrounds that blend to spell success! Clint, a native Houstonian, earned his BBA in Real Estate at Baylor University and has honed his Realtor skills by earning his GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) and CNE (Certified Negotiation Expert designations. As a natural problem solver and someone who educates his clients, he uses his skills to make transactions go as smoothly as possible, while keeping his clients' best interests in mind. Amy serves as a buyers' agent as the staging and marketing professional of the team, having earned her designation as CHMS, Certified Home Marketing Specialist. She believes in the importance of working hard to get it right. This is evident in her success as an honor graduate of Baylor University, where she was awarded "Mathematics Education Major of the Year". Amy's background in education helps her to coach clients in the process of buying or selling a home so that they understand all aspects of the transaction and can make informed decisions. Clint and Amy are persons of strong Christian faith, putting God as the head of their family and business. They have been married since 2001, have 2 children and are active members of Harvest Bible Church in Cypress. The family has lived in Fairfield since 2002 where Clint and Amy volunteer in numerous school, sports and community activities where they enjoy meeting new people. They also love to travel and entertain family and friends at home.
Mark and Catherine Ellis, co-founders of the team, bring over 4 decades of experience to the table. Mark's integrity, his straightforward approach and dedication to hard work have earned him a stellar reputation among clients and peers. Mark's pledge to his clients "involves listening and coming to an understanding of what the clients' needs are, followed up by persistence in meeting those needs in a professional manner." Catherine's organization skills and attention to details are her strengths and stem from her background as a CPA. Together, they are motivated toward excellence in handling all aspects of the real estate transaction. When not living and breathing real estate, the couple loves to fish, travel and entertain friends and family at home and at their lakehouse in East Texas. Both attended Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas and have been married since 1978. Mark and Catherine attend Cornerstone United Methodist Church and are actively involved in volunteer committees. Mark currently serves on the Evangelism committee - a perfect fit for his outgoing and nurturing personality, and he has also served on the CUMC Board of Trustees. Catherine is a member of the Outreach committee where she plans and coordinates various mission projects for the local community. She also plays English handbells with the church bell choir. The couple have 2 daughters (both on the team!) and 2 fun-loving grandchildren.
Jennifer has lived in the Cypress Community for 15 years with her husband and three children. She loves this area and is very knowledgeable of the people, places and growth of the community. Prior to perusing a career in real estate, Jennifer was a dance team director in the Cy-Fair school district for 12 years. She graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Psychology and Business.
Jennifer is a patient Realtor, listening and putting her client’s needs first, always without pressure. Providing Cypress home buyers and sellers with an effective game plan based on the client’s individual needs and desires is Jennifer’s focus. Her responsibility and commitment to her clients ensures that they will feel comfortable, informed, and relaxed in what can be a stressful time.
Mona Moreland, who has a bachelor’s in business administration from Steven F. Austin, first spent 15 years in tax accounting in Dallas, where she was born and raised. In 2006, she became a stay-at-home mom after husband David’s work moved them to Houston. As a PTO board treasurer from 2011-2012, Mona became very involved in school events and with community people—and met real estate agent Amy Nabors, which led to Mona becoming an accountant/assistant for the Ellis-Nabors Team. As someone who loves meeting and helping people, doing home and interior design, and more, Mona soon found that she loved every aspect of real estate and so found her new career. Mona and David have a son,Michael, and a daughter, Amanda. The ballet and symphony, art galleries, great novels, and movies are a few of the things she loves.
Nicole Bale, a Cum Laude graduate of the University of Colorado and Master of Education from the University of Washington, spent 7 years as a middle school English teacher and later spent time assisting with an interior designer in home staging and decorating before beginning her career as a real estate agent. Nicole, originally from Connecticut, has lived in various parts of the US before moving to Houston with her family when her husband accepted a management position with Baker Hughes. Nicole’s clients love her professional, friendly, hardworking attitude and the personalized attention she gives to each of them. Her market knowledge, communication techniques and negotiation skills have earned Nicole her client’s trust. Nicole has earned her Master Certified Negotiation Expert (MCNE) and Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) designations. She lives in Fairfield with her husband, three sons and golden retriever and enjoys reading and traveling when she is not on the sidelines of soccer and baseball fields cheering her boys on.
Drawn to the entrepreneurial life of a Realtor®, Ryan McLennan joined Gary Greene and came to the Fairfield office, where he welcomed the opportunity to join the Ellis-Nabors team.
This Texas A&M student is always busy too, starting with adding some well-respected real-estate credentials to his name. He obtained his Realtor’s® license, and quickly set about to complete the Graduate Realtor® Institute (GRI) designation program, which requires ninety hours of classroom work. He is also a Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE), a certification that less than five percent of Realtors® in the country possess. “With the classroom education I’ve gotten for this,” Ryan says, “I’m that much better prepared to negotiate the real estate process for my clients.”
A Houston area native, Ryan knows his city! This for sure is of great benefit to buyers and sellers. He understands and has a working knowledge of the local culture, schools, areas, and commerce and how that all impacts the home buying and selling process here in our great city! Understanding fully how buying a house is one of the biggest life decisions a person can make, Ryan aspires to help people to do that—and make it an enjoyable experience throughout the process. One of the most important things for Ryan is being trustworthy, which he says,“It’s at the core of who I am and it is critical, I believe, in being a Realtor®. Because without the trust of your client, you have nothing.”
Ryan is a family man, and his family further inspires him to the high bar he’s set for himself—being driven, detail-oriented, ever-learning, and more—in his work.
In his occasional downtime from coaching baseball and striving to achieve his entrepreneurial goals, Ryan can be found out on the golf course, or rooting for any Houston sports team! He loves the Astros, and enjoys going to games! Ryan is also an active member in his church, Hope City, where he attends regularly and volunteers.
Ainsley Curry, a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Texas State University and former math teacher for Cy-Fair ISD, has learned many things through the experience of teaching that serves as an asset in working with buyers and sellers in real estate! Patience, flexibility, how to deal with different types of people from all walks of life and communication skills are just a few that she notes! Her desire for a more balanced year-round work life and career is what inspired her to begin a career in real estate. But balance notwithstanding, flexibility is a keyword when it comes to Ainsley’s work style. Staying flexible and available to work around a client’s schedule is very important to her, making her easy to work with and very approachable.
Karen Zientek, licensed team manager, serves as the hub that makes the team function smoothly and efficiently in the office. Her 10-year background in Human Resources and 3 years in Property Management enables Karen to interact with clients in a professional, yet congenial manner. She keeps all the parties informed of each transaction's progress and maintains quality control of all the necessary paperwork and timelines. Karen, and her family have lived in Fairfield since 1995 and when she is not working, she enjoys watching her daughter coach high school volleyball and her teenage son play baseball for Cy-Ranch. Karen also loves interior decorating and reading.
Diann Nabors, the team accountant, brings over 30 years of business experience to the team, including 5 years in the title industry. Diann's work ethic, common sense approach to problem-solving and her enthusiasm are the perfect combination for team efficiency. Her attention to detail and organizational skills help the team have detailed records on hand to strategize and set goals and, when the team workload becomes really heavy, she has the skills necessary to pitch in with listing activities and generating necessary paperwork. Diann and her husband have lived in Cypress for many years-most recently in Fairfield. She loves to travel, read and spend time with her family, including their four grandchildren who all live close by. She is an active member and volunteers at her church, the Community of Faith.
