Now more than ever, experience matters and Mark Ellis has it! A real estate professional for over 35+ years, Mark has consistently been among the Houston metroplex's top producing Realtors since moving to the area in 1990.

As evidence of that, Mark has been ranked among Houston Business Journal's Top 25 Residential Realtors in Houston for 12 years including 2011 through 2018 as a member of one of the Top 25 Teams and 4 years as a Top 25 Individual. His list of past clients includes families that have requested his help in up to 6 transactions and with succeeding generations' transactions!

This extensive experience in real estate, coupled with his personal commitment to help his clients achieve their goals, is the key to his success. His integrity, straightforward approach and dedication to hard work have earned him a stellar reputation among clients and peers. Mark's pledge to his clients involves listening and coming to an understanding of what the clients' needs are, followed up by persistence in meeting those needs in a professional manner.

In 2009, Mark co-founded the Ellis Nabors Team along with son-in-law, Clint Nabors, daughter, Amy Nabors and his wife, Catherine Ellis, to better serve their clients. The team mutually agrees that Together We're Better and they work hard to exceed the expectations of every client. Whether working with buyers or sellers, they are diligent about always maintaining good follow-up and the highest standards.

The Ellis-Nabors Team has roots in the community throughout Greater Houston but is principally focused on West and Northwest Houston with an extensive market area that includes Cypress, Fairfield, Copperfield, Bridgeland, Towne Lake, Coles Crossing, Cypress Creek Lakes, and Lakes of Fairhaven. Another area of expertise for Mark is in his hometown of Crockett, Texas, namely at Houston County Lake where Mark and Catherine own lake property.

Outside of the real estate world, Mark is committed to serving his community. He has a serving heart as evidenced by his involvement in his church's Mission & Service committee, his volunteer work in Zambia, Africa with Family Legacy and with Faith in Practice in Guatemala. Recently, Mark completed the training necessary to commission him as a Stephen Minister at Cornerstone United Methodist Church.

Mark and Catherine, both graduates of Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, have been married over 40+ years and enjoy spending time with their two daughters and 5 grandchildren. Other hobbies include traveling, cooking, fishing and entertaining friends and family at their lake home.
